Meeting Recorder — New Plans & Updates — October 2026

We’re excited to announce new features you can try for free. Meeting Recorder now has more settings, and they have moved to a separate page. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the extension to open them:
- AI noise cancellation — remove background noise from your microphone while recording.
- Recording title placeholders — build recording and file names from
{date},{time},{length},{title}and{url}, for example “Oct 8, 14:14 Recordings”. - Start / stop recording hotkey — set a keyboard shortcut that starts or stops recording of the current tab.
- Save recording after stop — automatically save every recording when it ends.
- Delete local recordings — clear recordings stored in the extension. Downloaded files are not affected.
We’re always working to make Meeting Recorder better. To support these improvements, Pro plans are now available.
Meeting Recorder will continue to be free — recordings are stored locally, and the 5 latest recordings are saved in the extension.
